BUCHI’s solutions for digestion and steam distillation not only cope with protein determination according to Kjeldahl, but also with all kinds of reflux digestions and distillation of steam-volatile compounds.

 

Milling and homogenization

The subsequent steps are compromized if a sample is not ground into a representative sample. BUCHI can achieve this and heavy-metal-free grinding.

Digestion

The digestion process can be improved by 50% even with less chemicals. Moreover, the same instrument can be used for Kjeldahl, COD or heavy metal digestion. Harmful emissions are no longer an issue with BUCHI’s unique sealing system and four step scrubbing concept.

Steam Distillation and Titration

Separation of ammonia from the sample matrix is performed entirely unattended with the revolutionary patented distillation process. Quality of beer, wine, fish or soil can be determined with the same instruments.

Colorimetric and potentiometric titrations are accomplished by just plug and measure with no need to commit to only one supplier of indicators. Moreover, LIMS integration is facilitated using the intuitive KjelLink software.
